Quem sai aos seus...

Porque amanhã é Domingo: Janis Joplin - Summertime

Summertime and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy's rich and your ma is good-lookin'
So hush, little baby; don't you cry

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
And you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky
But till that morning, there ain't nothin' can harm you
With daddy and mammy standin' by

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
And you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky
But till that morning, there ain't nothin' can harm you
With daddy and mammy standin' by

The Intergalactic Laxative
Music and lyrics by Donovan P. Leitch

I was impressed like everyone
When man began to fly
Out of Earthly regions to
Planets in the sky
With total media coverage
We watched the heroes land
As ceremoniously they disturbed the cosmic sand

In awe with admiration we
Listened to the talk
Such pride felt they, such joy
To be upon the moon to walk
My romantic vision shattered when it was explained to me
Spacemen wear old diapers in which they shit and pee

* Oh! The intergalactic laxative
Will get you from here to there
Believe you and believe me! Without a worry or care
If shitting is your problem when you're out there in the stars
The intergalactic laxative
Will get you from here to Mars

They don't partake like you and I
Of beefy burger mush
Their food is specially prepared
To dissolve into slush
Absorbed by multi-fibres in
The super diaper suit
Otherwise the slush would trickle
Down inside the boot

* CHORUS

You may well ask now what becomes
Of liquid they consume
A pipe is led from penis to head to
A unit in the room
The water is recirculated, filtered
For re-use
In case some anti-gravity pee
Gets on the loose

* CHORUS

Wherever man has conquered on the
Quest for frontiers new
I'm glad he's always had to do
The no. one and two
It makes it all so ordinary
Just like you and me
To know the greatest heroes
They had to shit and pee

Writer: DON MCLEAN

In someone's hand there is a land, where I must surely go, where she is,
to learn what she must know, when she gives all her love away.
To him that seems as in her dreams, unbroken by the storm on the sea,
But quiet deep and warm ever free, to give his love away.
And when these two have found the land, the world is not the same,
For though it spins when love begins, the world is not the same.

This is one change I always have longed for,
I always belonged more to you than to anyone
and in your hand the stars the sand, the rain and wind are new, as we live
and learn what love can do, when we give all our love away.
And now we too have found the land, the world is not the same,
For though it spins when love begins, the world is not the same.

Bom Natal a todos

Bob Dylan - Forever Young

Songwriters: CREGAN, JIM / DYLAN, BOB / SAVIGAR, KEVIN / STEWART, ROD

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
